What do you think is the apology, what is the purpose of this sentence, Is it really said to be forgiven or to gloss over? Does it really feel good to apologize?
I don't think so, at least it doesn't make me feel good. I'm not talking about the apology you accidentally bumped into someone. I'm talking about the apology you wish for after hurting someone. I think apologizing to someone who was hurt is either to make up for it, or you have no idea how to fix the mistake you made, but if you already know enough to offend the other person, you also know how to forgive yourself in.
I'm not saying don't apologize, but an empty apology isn't good for anything, it's just to ease your conscience, whether you accept it or not.
We as human beings can be selfish, inconsiderate towards people especially towards ones we re in close relationship.I suppose that is the result of the fact that we feel sure those people wont be disrupted by our rude behaviours, actions.
